As most of my clients should know by now…the server I lease space on took a serious turn for the worse yesterday - with mySQL and email being offline most of the day.

I sent out a flood of emails to everyone in the last 24 hours to keep them abreast of the situation. If you missed any of them, they can be read here. (page removed 02-22-07)

In summary, I was forced to do an emergency move to a new hosting provider. The the people I was leasing the server from were terrific the first year and a half I was with them.

Unfortunately, I’d been receiving more and more reports of problems in the last few months about websites and email going down. The server crash yesterday and their complete lack of support was the final straw.

As of right now….all of the websites I host have been transferred to the new server. There are a handful of you that manage your own domains and need to update them with the new DNS (nameservers) before things will start working for you. Everyone else has been updated and it is only a matter of waiting for your domain to finish propagating to the new server.

Also, you’ll notice some things will be offline on my website for the next couple of days. Specifically….the CMS demos, knowlegebase and client tools. I need to fix some things that were messed up in the move (my site wasn’t a direct transfer as was the case with everyone else….so I have more tweaking to do. No one else should have any problems).
