Awkward Financial Reminders…

Although it is awkward having to bring this up, I thought it necessary given some recent misunderstandings concerning project-related payments.

Website Updates and Maintenance

Please do not expect updates to your website, however minor, to be made for free if it has been longer than six months since your site was finished. Although, individually, some updates only take a few minutes - please understand that these add up for me when several people are asking for small updates at a time.

My hourly freelance rate is $30/hour for existing design clients with a 30 minute minimum. This means a 30 minute update would only cost you $15.00. All of the ladies I have designed websites for make hundreds of dollars per hour. Please provide me with the same level of professional courtesy you would ask of your own clients by not expecting something for nothing.

Maintenance / Update fees can be paid online via credit card or PayPal from my payment page. Simply scroll to the bottom and enter in the custom payment amount. You can also find my payment address at the bottom of this page for money order payments.

New Website Projects

For new clients, please be conscientious of the time I am putting in to create your website. As stated on my web design services page, if we are unable to complete your site within 40 billable hours, it may be necessary to discuss additional fees to keep the project going. In all of the websites I have designed, 95% of them are finished within the original 2-week estimate. Occasionally however, projects run over because of scheduling and/or availability issues with one or both of us. This is absolutely fine and understandable. However, if you find that I am still making regular tweaks, updates and additions to your site a month or more after we began, please take the initiative and offer additional compensation. Or at the very least, try to be understanding of my position if I ask for additional fees.
Remaining Balances

Lastly, if you still have a remaining balance on your website or freelance project, please make it a priority to pay this off. Your website is one of the most important marketing tools you have as an entertainer. Without it, many ladies would be unable to make a fraction of the income they do. Most entertainers wouldn’t permit their clients to pay them weeks or even months after a contract has finished. With that said, please respect the time I invest to create or update your website and understand that this is my income. Payment delays set me back financially as they would anyone else.

It is awkward and uncomfortable for me to have to ask for maintenance, remaining balances or additional project fees. Most of the time I never even bring it up, but find myself feeling less motivated to work with that person again in the future.

In general, I am actually pretty flexible on everything mentioned above. I completely understand that there can be extenuating circumstances or that some ladies are working on a tight budget. I am completely willing to work with you on the financials, but I just need to know if there is a problem. Please communicate any difficulties or delays you may have in paying your website balance so I can plan accordingly.

Thanks for understanding….
