VedaGallery v2.0 Released
I’ve been meaning to revamp my Gallery CMS (content management system) for months now and am glad to say I’ve finally gotten around to it. The biggest improvement is that you can now reorder photos on your gallery page through the admin area by simply dragging the thumbnails to the desired position.
What’s new in version 2:
- Ability to reorder the photos on your gallery page
- Re-branded the script from GalleryCMS to VedaGallery
- Prettier colors & cleaner layout
- Cleaned up and optimized messy source code
- Main gallery page will now automatically refresh after making any changes in the admin window(such as sort, delete, upload…)
Keep in mind I have two CMS programs. One for text (called VedaCMS) and the other for your gallery page (called VedaGallery). This update only applies to VedaGallery. Email me if you have an older version of this script and would like me to update you to the most recent version. Visit my online knowledgebase for instructions on using VedaGallery.
You can test out the new version here.
To-Do List (future enhancements….some day):
- Better error handling (when you do anything that breaks the script, like uploading a non-jpg image)
- Basic Multiple Albums (allow you to create multiple albums or separate photo sets)
