Alternate Hosting Support
If you are having a problem with your hosting or email account, you can now email the following address for 24/7 support:
support@vedadesigns.net
Important: Emails to this address are directed to the technical support department of the company I lease server space from. This address can ONLY be used for hosting-related questions or email problems.
As some of you know, mail and web services were interrupted on the server last Thursday - which caused a few websites to go down temporarily. Because I was out most of that day, I didn’t realize this had happened until after it was already fixed.
Because I run Veda Designs independently, it is difficult for me to be available 24/7 for emergency support requests. This usually isn’t a problem, but in situations like last week, I’ve decided that it would be best for me to have an alternate support resource in case I am out of town or taking a couple of days off.
After speaking with the company I lease server space from, I have upgraded my account to include end-user support for hosting and/or email issues. From now on, if you are having problems with email or you think your website may be down, you can email support@vedadesigns.net for faster responses to these types of issues.
The only stipulation is that your support requests to this email address can only be related to your hosting account and/or email (such as your website being down or your email not working). They cannot answer questions related to your website functionality, design or development.
You can, of course, still email me at tara@vedadesigns.net for support….but in emergency situations (like last week), you’ll probably receive a faster response from the company I lease from, as they offer 24/7 support with an average 20-30 minute response time.
